Converting Poe

I have every reason to believe that this is a clear example of Poe's Law. But that's part of the reason it cuts so close - I've had these kinds of arguments, online and in person. In each of them, you take a second, turn your head, and say "Wait...really? You...REALLY...believe that?" I've always wondered if some of the people I've had discussions with were actually trolling/Poeing...but most of them seemed sincere enough afterward.

Anyway, watch, cringe, facepalm, laugh.

I mean, it really screams that is a joke. I don't know if it is just the fact that I am always looking for trolls on the internet. But I mean honestly, the one girl is wearing sunglasses indoors, the only reason I can think of for that is to hide who she is. Maybe it is just because she is online and doesn't want to be known but she might be a little ashamed of being so aggressive and ignorant while trying to convert that girl. I mean the opening that talks about one "normal" friend and one Indian one... and then their complete ignorance, no it's something beyond ignorance of geography. I mean they went on forever about Africa and Asia making an Indian baby. It was like they were just trying to be insulting. But if this is real... I always think when I watch a video it can't go any lower but it always seem to.

Oh, I know. The thing is, I do think this is a Poe, but these girls are relatively smart (alternatively, the arguments they're parodying are just that dumb), but I've actually heard stuff like that "What is an Indian? Like an African and an Asia have a baby?" or "Is that your culture's name for Jesus?" They've done a bit of homework it seems, which is, I think, why it's so painful.

I really don't think it's real. I think it's done exactly what she wanted - got views and comments, and she fooled a lot of people, atheists included.

So, hats off to them, but I really can't stand to sit through it again.
